The (for now) End

Here I am sitting in the living room of my new home in Fredericton, not believing that I won’t be going to work tomorrow morning. I won’t be testing new cheeses or sampling delicious coffee.

My internship was definitely the highlight of my summer, the friendly faces and the delicious food. I don’t know many other people who would go into work as much as I did on their spare time. I loved to sit, have a coffee, and chat with the amazing coworkers. I also learnt so much on the internship about where our food comes from, how to make delicious coffee and how to effectively lead a group of students. I learnt some of the operation of owning a small, local business and the deep, intertwined connections with the rest of the community.

All in all, I can’t wait to come back at Christmas to help out with the Christmas chaos that occurs in Canmore, and be reunited with some friendly faces, and meet some new employees.

Thank you so much Raegan and Elana for making this internship an experience of a lifetime, and all the staff who kept me smiling all day, every day.
